Work is continuing on the formulation of a National Policy for Healthy Aging following the hosting of a two day workshop by the Ministry of Health and Social Development.
Residents of the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly were presented with three wheelchairs, donated by international law firm Harneys. Chief Operating Officer at Harneys, Felice Swapp stated that it was important that support be given to the elderly and pledged that her form will continue to do its part towards improving the quality of life for the residents.
The Social Development Department is notifying all seniors that there has been a venue change for the Senior Mix ‘n’ Mingle scheduled for Friday, May 29.
