Fifteen Softball teams from across the public and private sector are featured as they gathered to officially open the Industrial Softball League 2024. 

The public is notified that the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) staff will be travelling to Anegada on Wednesday April 17 to register youth and promote the upcoming, "Youth Enrichment Anegada Edition" events to be held from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28.

Students from secondary schools across the Territory gathered at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium to have candid discussions with their peers as well as key officials in the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports at the Youth Symposium under the theme “S.T.E.A.Ming Ahead to the Reimagined Education YOUth Deserve” held on Monday, March 25.

Madam Speaker, the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports has initiated the revision of the National Youth Policy. 

The Ministry for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Inter-Secondary School Chess Tournament begins at the Multipurpose Complex today, December 12.

The Ministry of Education remains steadfast in its commitment to this imperative task, recognizing the fundamental role of effective leadership and positive behavioral support programs in addressing the challenges associated with maintaining discipline within our educational institutions.

Madam Speaker, I am delighted to address this Honourable House today regarding the visit of our innovative and dedicated team to the prestigious FIRST Global Robotics Challenge, which was held in Singapore from October 7^th – 10, 2023.  Our team’s participation in this event holds great significance, as this was our territory’s first opportunity to participate in a global competition that advances the technology of Robotics.

The Governor’s Office has a fund totalling $30,000 to fund youth empowerment projects in the BVI. The Governor’s Office welcomes applications from organisations, or partnerships across organisations, for projects up to the value of $10,000.

The public is notified that the closing date for receiving applications for the Registration Apprenticeship, Training, Employment and Development (RATED) programme is Friday, February, 17.
