Minister for Health and Social Development the Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton has expressed concern about the number of cases of physical, sexual, neglect and emotional abuse recorded by the Social Department.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development, in collaboration with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Department for International Development (DFID) will be hosting a series of workshops on Child Rights and the Child Protection Protocol next week. All leaders of youth/children related organisations, as well as youth and children leaders in churches are invited to a session on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at Maria’s by the Sea.
