Request for Proposal Terrazzo Tiles in the East End / Long Look Community Centre
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Health and Social Development, is requesting estimates to restore and polish 4,350 square feet of Terrazzo tiles at the East End/Long Look Community Centre. Estimates are due by Tuesday, 4th March, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Submissions must include the estimated cost, list of similar projects, a reference letter, certificates of good standing, and a trade license. A site visit is scheduled for Friday, 7th February, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Request For Proposal Consultancy Services For Engineering Design And Construction Management Of Water Mains & Civil Works For The Farmers’ Reservoir

VI Public Urged To Properly Dispose Electronic Waste
The Department of Waste Management is urging the public to properly dispose of electronic waste due to a rise in unsafe dumping practices. Items like phones, laptops, and video game consoles often contain lithium batteries that pose fire hazards if not handled correctly. Residents are asked to take electronics to the Pockwood Pond Dumpsite or place them in a clearly separated bag beside community recycling bins. Businesses must dispose of e-waste directly at the facility. Improper dumping carries a $150 fine. The department continues to seek sustainable waste solutions and encourages the public to stay informed via its official Facebook page.
