The Department of Waste Management is advising residents of temporary garbage collection delays affecting the Valley Virgin Gorda since 27 July.

The Department in collaboration with its local contractor has taken immediate steps to address the issue and has implemented interim measures to ensure that garbage collection services continue during this period.

Significant progress has been made toward resolving the matter and the Department anticipates that normal collection operations will resume within the next few days.

The Department of Waste Management sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their patience, understanding and continued cooperation as efforts continue to restore regular service.
