What You Need

  • A certified copy of your BVI Passport Biography page, including the page with the belonger status seal
  • A certified copy of your Birth Certificate (Civil Registry and Passport Office)
  • A certified copy of your Belonger Card (front and back)

  • A certified copy of your BVI Passport Biography page, including the page with the belonger status seal (for the Directors)
  • A certified copy of Memorandum & Articles of Association
  • A certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation
  • A certified copy of Current Annual List of Members
  • A Certificate of Good Standing from Registry of Corporate Affairs
  • A certified copy of a BVI Trade Licence

How To Apply

Step 1:  Download and complete the application form

Download and complete the Application to Use the Seabed for the Erection of Jetties and Breakwaters form. The form must be typed or written legibly in bold print using blue or black ink only. 

Step 2: Gather the required documents

Collect all supporting documents required for your application and ensure that all sections of the form are completed.

Step 3: Submit your application by email

Email the completed application form and all supporting documents to menrcc@gov.vg.

The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change (MENRCC) will review your submission and respond  within two (2) business days

If any information or supporting documents are missing, your application will be returned for completion.

Step 4: Submit the physical application and pay the applicable fees

Once the Ministry confirms that your application and supporting documents are in order, submit the completed physical application form and pay the applicable fees in person at MENRCC.

 

Fees

APPLICATION FEES (non-refundable):        
Individual - $25.00        
Company - $50.00

PROCESSING FEES (non-refundable):          
Individual & Company - $125.00

DEVELOPMENT FEE:    
$500.00 per annum (until development is completed)

DREDGING FEE:   
$1,500.00 (500 cubic yard or less)      
$2,500.00 (above 500 cubic yard)

APPROVAL LICENCE FEE (non-refundable):     
$300.00 (Individual)       
$500.00 (Commercial)

ANNUAL LICENCE FEE:   
$0.50 per sq. ft. for individual private jetties
$1.00 per sq. ft for company private jetties
$1.00 per sq. ft. for individual commercial jetties
$1.25 per sq. ft for company commercial jetties
$2.00 per sq. ft. for mega yacht facilities
$250.00 for barge ramp
