REQUIRED DOCUMENTS – RESIDENTIAL
- A recent passport sized photograph
- A certified copy of the biography page and the page with the belonger status seal from your passport from The Virgin Islands
- A certified copy of your birth certificate
- A certified copy of your Belonger Card (if applicable)
- Copy of your Certificate of Naturalisation (if applicable)
- An Affidavit of Identity (if applicable)
- One (1) character reference letter
- An employment letter addressed to the Minister, Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change
- One (1) reference letter from your financial institution addressed to the Minister, Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change)
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS - COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL/TOURISM RELATED
- A certified copy of the biography page and the page with the belonger status seal from your passport from The Virgin Islands
- One (1) reference letter from your financial institution addressed to the Minister, Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change)
- A detailed business plan
- A certified copy of a VI Trade Licence
- Certificate of Good Standing from Inland Revenue
- Certificate of Good Standing from Social Security
- Certificate of Good Standing from National Health Insurance
- A certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation (if applicable)*
- A certified copy of the Register of members(if applicable)*
- A certified copy of the Register of directors and officers(if applicable)*
- A Certified copy of Memorandum & Articles of Association of the company (if applicable)
- A Certificate of Good Standing from the Registry of Corporate Affairs(if applicable)
*Can be substituted by a Certificate of Incumbency from a licenced registered agent in The Virgin Islands showing: date of incorporation and registration number, capital of the company and the directors and shareholders.

How To Apply
1. Select the relevant form
Choose the application form that corresponds to the proposed use of Crown Land.
2. Review the requirements
Read the instructions and identify all information and supporting documents required for that application.
3. Complete the form
Fill in all applicable sections and check that the information is accurate and complete. Forms should be typed or written legibly in BOLD PRINT using black and blue ink only.
4. Submit the application
Submit the completed application form to the Ministry, together with all required supporting documentation and the applicable application fee.. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
The applicant will receive an email confirming receipt of their completed application and supporting documentation.

Individual Crown Land Application Fee (non-refundable) - $25
Commercial Crown Land Application Fee (non-refundable)- $50
PROCESSING FEES (non-refundable): Individual & Company - $125.00
LEASE & TRANSFER FEES: Individual - $300.00 Companies - $500.00

Important Information
- Applications are reviewed to make sure they meet the required laws and rules.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
- Include all required documents to help avoid delays. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant.
Applications for Crown Land in Government subdivisions for residential purposes are not being considered at this time (with the exception of Anegada).
