The Virgin Islands Government is inviting residents to tonight’s public meeting to discuss the ‘Framework for Implementation of the Recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry’.

Residents are encouraged to submit their input via email as the Government of the Virgin Islands seeks to gather feedback from the public concerning the ‘Framework for Implementation of the Recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry Report and Other Reforms’.

Parents and guardians of public primary and secondary students who are loaners of digital textbook tablets are asked to return the devices to the Ministry of Education on the 3^rd floor of the Ward’s Building.  Collection will begin on Monday July 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..

The Government of the Virgin Islands is currently accepting applications for membership on the Board of the BVI Tourist Board until Saturday, July 16, 2022.

The public is notified that a portion of Parham Town road in the vicinity of Moose Bar and Restaurant will be closed from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9.

The public is notified that the road through Cane Garden Bay will be only one-way from Sunday, July 10 from 1:00 p.m. to Monday, July 11, 12:30 a.m.

Residents and businesses along the Blackburn Highway from Baugher’s Bay to Fish Bay are advised that the public water service has been restored.

The Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs has resumed operations and is now open to the public.
