The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports has announced the 2023 Primary and Secondary Spelling Bee Winners:

The Primary School Spelling Bee concluded on Wednesday, June 7. The winners are:

• 1st Place -  Sean Ramotar- Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School
• 2nd place - Orissa Thomas - St. George’s Primary School
• 3rd place - Amrita Singh - Enis Adams Primary School

The Secondary School Spelling Bee concluded on Wednesday, May 31. The winners are:

• 1st place - Arkaydee Parillon  - Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies
• 2nd place - Tristan Arthur - St. George’s Secondary School
• 3rd place - Lennox Clancy - Ciboney Centre for Excellence

Students from public and private schools participated in this year’s competition.
