The first of two days of foreign language knowledge display kicked off today with primary schools across the Territory squaring off in Spanish spelling, translation and general knowledge. Ciboney School of Excellence emerged victorious, followed by Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School in second place and Cedar International in third place after a tiebreaker for second and third place. The bar for competition has been set. Watch the showdown live on the Government’s Facebook @BVIGovernment on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. when secondary schools will face off in the areas of spelling, translation and general knowledge in Spanish and French.
