Motorists and residents in the St. Thomas Bay area on Virgin Gorda in the vicinity of Customs and the Ferry dock are being asked to refrain from relocating cones and road signs from where they are positioned.

Persons are reminded that the traffic signs are to guide persons using the road and removal of these signs is an offence. The Road Traffic Act (Cap.218) Section 5 (7) states that any person who shall injure, deface, remove or in any manner interfere with any traffic sign lawfully placed or erected on any road shall be guilty of an offence under this act.
