The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that there is a partial road closure on the Sir Francis Drake Highway adjacent Fort Burt.

Motorists heading into Road Town from West End are asked to take the alternative route via Sea Cows Bay Bypass Road at the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School in Sea Cows bay onto George’s Hallow Road and the Paul P. Wattley Bypass.

This will help alleviate traffic congestion in town.

West-bound traffic can proceed via the Sir Francis Drake Highway and are asked to drive with extreme caution in the area of Burt Point. Works on this road is expected to be completed by Friday, October 16.

The Ministry Communications and Works apologises for the inconvenience caused during this time.
