Teachers and students of the Jost Van Dyke School are pictured marching through the streets of Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke dressed in blue in observance of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month in April.

Bystanders at Foxy’s Bar were brought to tears as students continued their march with placards and blue balloons while singing the songs, “We Are The World” and “Go Light Your World.”

At the end of the march, Principal Blyden sensitised students on autism and child abuse and encouraged students not to be afraid to talk to someone they trust if they are being abused. (Photo credit: Provided by Ms. Lavern Blyden)
