The public is invited to the launch ceremony for the book “Voices and Visions of Education Heroes, Leaders and Elders: A History of Education in the British Virgin Islands” by local author, Dr. Charles H. Wheatley, OBE, PhD.

The book highlights the struggles and triumphs of the leaders, elders and heroes toward the growth of the educational system, focusing on the period between 1834 and 2016.

The launch will be held at the Moorings Mariner Inn on Thursday, August 15 at 4:00 p.m. Persons are encouraged to attend and support the event.
