On the passing of Jamal Smith

It is with a heavy heart that I must offer my sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mr. Jamal Smith. Mr. Smith will be remembered for his altruism as a prominent member of the Virgin Islands legal community who gave many years of service to the Territory by serving on a number of Boards including the Labour Arbitration Tribunal.

As Acting Governor, I have already spoken to the Commissioner of Police and will attend the National Security Council meeting this afternoon. I am appealing to anyone with relevant information to contact the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
