The Government of the Virgin Islands through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour is still accepting applications as it seeks to fill the vacant position of Chairperson at the Labour Arbitration Tribunal.

The public is notified that the Labour Arbitration Tribunal will be closed to the public from Monday, 12 December 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday, 3 January 2023. 

The Government of the Virgin Islands through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour is inviting applications from interested and qualified persons to fill the vacant position of chairperson at the Labour Arbitration Tribunal.

Employers, employees, legal practitioners and the public are notified that the Labour Arbitration Tribunal’s Trinity Term ended on Friday, July 29. Sittings are suspended during the Summer Break from Monday, August 1 until Wednesday, August 31.

Employers, employees, legal practitioners and the public are notified that the Labour Arbitration Tribunal’s Michaelmas Term ends on Friday, December 24. Sittings will be suspended during the Christmas Break from Wednesday, December 29 to Wednesday, January 5 2022.

The public is reminded that the Labour Arbitration Tribunal is accepting applications from qualified persons to supplement its current Roster of Accredited Labour Arbitrators.
