Motorists and residents are advised that due to continuing works at Ballast Bay the road will be closed for the duration of February and the entire month of March.  The extended road closure is required to complete the culvert structure and the installation of the new bridge.  The next target date for reopening is the second week in April.

Motorists coming from Cane Garden Bay will be unable to use the Ballast Bay Road to access Windy Hill and Carrot Bay and vice versa.

Motorists are asked to drive with extreme caution and to follow the directions of the traffic wardens and road signs erected in designated areas – Stoutt’s Lookout Point and in the vicinity of the Stop N’ Wash Laundromat near Rudy’s Bar.

The Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities the RDA would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding as road rehabilitation works take place throughout the Territory.  Persons are asked to stay tuned to media outlets and social media, in particular the Government’s and RDA’s Facebook and Instagram pages and websites for the latest traffic advisories.
