The public is advised that drainage works continue on the lower part of Fort Hill (from Qwomar Trading up to the intersection with Bau Bau Gene Hill) and traffic disruptions are expected for the next two weeks.  During the day the road will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and all traffic will be diverted through Baugher’s Bay. Between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. until the drainage works are completed, this section of Fort Hill will be maintained for one lane traffic that is for motorists accessing Fort Hill from the Port Purcell roundabout ONLY.  All motorists descending Fort Hill will be diverted through Baugher’s Bay.

Motorists are also asked to drive with extreme caution and to follow the directions of the traffic wardens and obey the traffic signs in these areas.
