The public is being advised that several beaches have been red flagged and are closed due to ground swell activity from Tuesday, January 10 until further notice.

Beaches that have been closed include: Cane Garden Bay,Smugglers Cove, Long Bay, Capoons Bay, Brewers Bay, Trunk Bay, Rogues Bay, Josiah’s Bay, Lambert Beach, Little Bay on Tortola, as well as Savannah Bay and the Baths on Virgin Gorda, North Shore of Anegada and the Bubbly Pool on Jost Van Dyke.

Persons are asked to avoid the shoreline in the interest of safety as the waves increase in size later in the week.
