Stakeholders including representatives from the BVI Tourist Board, National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands, Unite BVI and BVI Ports Authority are featured as they participated in a two-day workshop themed, “Overseas Territories Biodiversity Strategy.”

The session was as a result of a continued partnership between the Governments of the United Kingdom and the Virgin Islands which provides training through the Joint Nature Conservation Committee to develop a framework for a new Overseas Territories Biodiversity Strategy.

Topics including the Virgin Island’s vision for biodiversity across the UKOT’s and understanding the VI’s high-level priorities for biodiversity were discussed at the two day workshop.
