The Government of the Virgin Islands is installing twenty-four (24) new weather stations as it moves to re-establish a Territory wide multi hazard monitoring network.
The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has sanctioned the appointment of one new member and re-appointment of four members of the Allied Health Professionals Council established under the Medical Act, 2000.
On Tuesday, 27th March, 2018, the Deputy Governor Mr. David D. Archer, Jr and former Deputy Governors Mrs. Dancia Penn-Sallah, OBE, QC and Mrs. Rosalie Adams visited former Deputy Governor Mr. Elton Georges at Peebles Hospital where he is currently resident managing a medical condition.

During the hurricane recovery process, the Premier’s Office recognized the need to strengthen the linkage between the tourism and hospitality public and private sector, with a view to expediting the recovery of the industry.
Deputy Governor, Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. officially visited Virgin Gorda on March 27, the first in a series of familiarisation tours to the Sister Islands.
