Post-Paid Cruising Permits Requirements UPDATED

The public is informed that effective January 17, post-paid Cruising Permits would not be issued to charter operators/companies without an approved Operator Agreement between Her Majesty’s Customs and the company.

Operators wishing to apply can write a letter to request approval to the Commissioner. The letter should include their average charter operations within a 2-week period and the amount of cruising permits they would be requesting.

Agreements can be completed at the Customs Headquarters at the Richard Stoutt Building providing all the requirements are met.

Symposium for Charter Operators Postponed

Charter operators and companies are notified that the symposium scheduled for Monday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. has been postponed until further notice.

Symposium for Charter Operators/Companies

All charter operators/companies with two or more vessels are invited to a mandatory symposium for new and existing approved operators on Monday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Her Majesty’s Customs Training Room. Interested persons should contact the department at 468-6800 to register for a session. Please note that due to COVID-19 guidelines, spaces are limited to one representative per charter company.
