The public is notified that HM Customs at Port Purcell is closed due to flooding. Persons can contact the Public Service Customer Service Care Centre at 468-3701 or email the department at bvicustoms@gov.vg.
The management of Her Majesty’s Customs is notifying the public that the State of Declaration Unit located on the third floor of the Quomar building is closed for the day.
Her Majesty’s Customs is advising persons with outstanding partial payment accounts to make payments by May 16, 2022. Failure to do so will result in the collection of the uncustomed goods

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has announced that all customs duties on imports that are above five percent (5%) will be reduced to five percent (5%) effective April 15 for three months in the first instance as the Government of the Virgin Islands makes the relevant adjustments to provide relief to the people of the Territory.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting proposals for the provision of design services for the configuration and outfitting of the Her Majesty’s Customs Courier Cargo Distribution Centre located at Port Purcell.
The public is informed that effective January 17, post-paid Cruising Permits would not be issued to charter operators/companies without an approved Operator Agreement between Her Majesty’s Customs and the company.
Operators wishing to apply can write a letter to request approval to the Commissioner. The letter should include their average charter operations within a 2-week period and the amount of cruising permits they would be requesting.
Agreements can be completed at the Customs Headquarters at the Richard Stoutt Building providing all the requirements are met.
Charter operators and companies are notified that the symposium scheduled for Monday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. has been postponed until further notice.
