Effective August 1, home and foreign based charters will see an increase in cruising permit fees to $6 and $16 per person per day respectively.

Officers from Her Majesty’s Customs are celebrating Customs week 2017.

 The public is invited to celebrate with Her Majesty’s Customs during Customs Week 2017. The celebrations will be held from January 22 to 28 under the theme ‘The Evolutions of Her Majesty’s Customs’.

The improved internal processes used to deliver faster and more efficient services to industry partners and the public will be highlighted during Customs Week 2017.

BVI continues to improve the management and monitoring of the import and export of goods, as over 30 officers from Her Majesty’s Customs received training on the Harmonised Classification Coding System.

Her Majesty’s Customs is advising the public that effective today, Tuesday, November 22, the operating hours at the Port Purcell port of entry will be extended from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until the end of the year. 

Effective today, all trader declarations will be completed and submitted online through the Customs Automated Processing System (CAPS) as Her Majesty’s Customs moves towards full automation.

Officers from Her Majesty’s Customs K-9 Unit along with officers from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force are currently taking part in the 14^th annual K-9 Recertification Seminar.

Effective November 1, all trader declarations will be completed and submitted electronically using the Customs Automated Processing System (CAPS).
