The public is notified that public schools, with the exception of Elmore Stoutt High School and the Ivan Dawson Primary School, will resume normal classes on Thursday, 5^th October, 2023.

The public is advised that with the conclusion of the Territory’s flood warning at 5:00 p.m., the National Emergency Operations Centre is deactivated.

Buenas tardes a todos. Como sin duda habrán observado, los vientos y la lluvia provocados por el paso de la tormenta tropical Philippe se han reducido significativamente. 

Good afternoon to all. As you no doubt will have observed, the winds and rain from Tropical Storm Philippe’s passage have reduced significantly. 

Good day to everyone in the Virgin Islands. Since early this morning, I have been working closely with the Director of Disaster Management and his team in response to the effect of Tropical Storm Philippe, which we have all experienced. And of course I have also been in regular touch with the Acting Premier.

Se informa al público que el Centro Nacional de Operaciones de Emergencia está llevando a cabo evaluaciones de daños y operadores de equipo pesado están trabajando para despejar las carreteras que han sido bloqueadas por los efectos de la tormenta tropical Philippe.

The public is advised that the National Emergency Operations Centre is carrying out damage assessments and heavy equipment operators are working to clear those roads that have been blocked by the effects of Tropical Storm Philippe.

Se informa al público que las Islas Vírgenes han sido puestas bajo advertencia de inundación repentina. 

Se notifica al público que debido a los efectos continuos de la tormenta tropical Phillipe, todas las oficinas gubernamentales están cerradas hoy, 4 de octubre de 2023.
