Seven Centenarians were honoured by the Social Development Department for reaching the incredible milestone of 100 years.

Doctors, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and caregivers are invited to participate in the ‘Prescribing for the Elderly’ virtual workshop on Thursday February 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development will be hosting a virtual workshop to improve the prescription of medication for the elderly. 

This year’s observation of Senior Citizen’s Month drew to a close with a trip to Virgin Gorda and an island tour for the seniors.

Residents are advised that as of March 10, there will be a restriction policy on visitors and volunteers at all residential facilities under the Social Development Department.

Deputy Speaker and Territorial Member, Honourable Neville A. Smith delivered bundles of joy to the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly.

Restoration works done on the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly (ADH) and the Virgin Gorda Elderly Home are now complete.

Residents of the Adina Donovan Home are featured as they were honoured on May 25 during a luncheon ceremony.

The Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly has received a donation of new window blinds to assist in the ongoing efforts to improve the overall look and environment of the Home.
