The public, including community groups, are invited to participate in a walk to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease this Saturday, March 4 at 5:00 a.m.
The Territory’s residents are encouraged to show love to individuals affected with mental illnesses, addictions and intellectual disabilities this Valentine’s Day.
In observance of Mother’s Day on May 8, Mr. Sherman Smith, a client of the Safe Haven Transitional Centre hosted a luncheon in appreciation for all the women who have played a significant role in his life.
The Sandy Lane Centre was officially renamed Safe Haven Transitional Centre as it seeks to provide better social support and stable housing to persons experiencing chronic homelessness.
Patrons, Autism Centre staff and Sol Petroleum staff are pictured in high spirits despite the rainy weather to walk in observation of World Autism Day that took place on April 2.
The first Light it up Blue March and Fun Day was held on April 1 to commence activities in observance of Child Abuse Prevention and Autism Awareness Month.
