The Ministry of Health and Social Development has confirmed that eight more COVID related deaths were recorded over the last week bringing the total number of deaths in the Virgin Islands to 31.

The public is notified that ‘Operation Protect Each Other’ Vaccination Drive continues this week on the Festival Grounds. Persons can come out today July 27 through Saturday July 31 to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. Individuals are also encouraged to walk in or carpool, have a Government ID and wear short sleeves tops to receive their vaccines. Let us all do our part to keep our Territory safe.

Virgin Islands residents are advised that the Protect Each Other Vaccination Drive-Thu will be open this week from Monday, July 19 to Saturday, July 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.

A total of 432 residents got vaccinated on the first day of the Operation Protect Each Other Drive-Thru Vaccination that took place on Saturday, July 17.
