Public officers now have a new recognition programme to improve employee morale and award exceptional performance across all levels.

The new Public Service Excellence Award, one of the Employee Recognition Programmes administered by the Department of Human Resources will be launched on Monday, February 9.

The Employee Relations Unit of the Human Resources Department, Government of the Virgin Islands invites the public to their Health & Wellness Fair on Jost Van Dyke on Tuesday, February 3.  

The Deputy Governor’s Office is informing the public that Government offices will be closed at 1:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24 and again at 1:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31.  Exceptions however apply to departments with staff that provide essential services.  

The office regrets any inconvenience caused and wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
