Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie said businesses engaged in tourism activities  must be certified to receive visitors  as part of Phase Three of the reopening of the tourism industry.

Twenty-six residents of Jost Van Dyke have received in person training in Restaurant Service under the H. Lavity Stoutt’s Community College (HLSCC) Tourism Certificate Programmme.

Junior Minister of Tourism, Honourable Sharie B. de Castro has announced that the Government of the Virgin Islands will be covering the cost for the first 1,000 persons who register for the Tourism Certification Training Programme.

Residents of the Virgin Islands can now be internationally certified in all levels of hospitality training following the launch of the Tourism Certification Training Programme.
