Ms. Ingrid A. Moses-Scatliffe has been appointed Interim Chief Registrar of Lands in the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change while the substantive post holder is on leave. She previously served in this role from 2007 to 2010 and brings extensive experience, including serving as Speaker of the House of Assembly and working in law and banking. As Interim Registrar, she will manage the department’s daily operations, ensure timely processing of requests, and act in a quasi-judicial capacity. Ms. Moses-Scatliffe expressed honor in serving again and emphasized the department’s mission to manage land resources with efficiency and transparency. The Government remains committed to effective natural resource management.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development has appointed Mr. Michael Maduro, Ms. Solika Carey, and Ms. Lorna Christopher to the Social Security Board Appeals Tribunal for a two-year term retroactive to October 11, 2024. Mr. Maduro, a seasoned barrister and mediator, will serve as Chairman. Ms. Carey, a legal and financial services professional, will represent employees, while retired public officer Ms. Christopher will represent employers.
