The 2026 Preliminary List for the Virgin Islands is now available for public inspection, in accordance with section 18(5) of the Elections Act, Revised Laws of the Virgin Islands, 2013.
The Preliminary List features a total of 16,553 registered voters across the Territory’s nine (9) electoral districts.
Supervisor of Elections, Ms. Carlene Herbert, is encouraging registered voters to review the Preliminary List and verify that their information is correctly recorded. Ms. Herbert said, “This is an opportunity for voters to verify that their information is correctly listed. The review process is important as it assists the Office in identifying and correcting any potential errors and ensuring that the Territory’s Voters List is accurately maintained throughout the year.”
The Preliminary List is physically available for inspection at 51 locations throughout the Territory, including supermarkets, clinics, bars/grills, restaurants, stores, government administration buildings and the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport. Additionally, persons may view the list by visiting gov.vg/office-supervisor-elections.
Persons with claims or objections to the Preliminary List are advised that submissions may be made from 7th to 18th September 2026 at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, located in the Creque Building, #216 Upper Main Street, Road Town, Tortola. Claims relating to a person’s name, address or occupation being incorrectly recorded or omitted must be submitted using Form No. 3. Objections to the inclusion of another person on the Preliminary List must be submitted using Form No. 4.
