Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. Jacinth Hannibal is urging residents to ‘Know their status’ as the Territory joins the rest of the world in observing the 30th anniversary of the first World AIDS Day on December 1.

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) were badly affected by hurricanes in 2017. Prior to the hurricanes, the only government system that operated independently of the telecoms operators was the VHF system that many security agencies and emergency services relied on as the primary means of communication.
His Excellency the Governor Mr. Augustus Jaspert left the Territory today for the United Kingdom where he will be attending the Joint Ministerial Council Meeting (JMC).
