Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone said the new Curfew (No. 35) Order, 2020 calls for the restriction of vessels in the Territory’s waters.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has reported no active cases of COVID-19 and Cabinet’s decision to impose a new curfew from 12:00 midnight to 5:00 a.m.

Greetings to everyone.  I am pleased to bring you another status report on the Territory’s COVID-19 situation and response. I begin with a summary of the case numbers and their distribution.

The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has advised the National Security Council to impose a new restricted curfew for a period of seven (7) days from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. daily.

Minister for Health and Social Development,Honourable Carvin Malone has warned property owners who are tempted to violate and disregard human rights to safety, sanitary and decent living conditions.

covid-19 UPDATE – PHASED INTERNAL REOPENING

El Ministro de Salud y Desarrollo Social, el Honorable Carvin Malone, informó que el total de casos activos de COVID-19 en el Territorio se ha reducido a 28 desde su última actualización el 10 de septiembre.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has reported that 20 persons recovered from COVID-19 and that there is one new case of the virus in the British Virgin Islands.
