Persons deemed as essential workers under the Curfew Order, 2020 can apply for curfew passes to the Ministry of Health and Social Development by email to ministryofhealth@gov.vg.
The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has issued a mandatory curfew for residents of the BVI with the exception of essential workers from March 27 to April 2.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is reminding the public to adhere to the mandatory curfew which will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday March 27 to 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2.
Good afternoon. The spread of COVID-19 across the globe highlights that it is highly infectious and therefore it will remain a threat to the British Virgin Islands for the foreseeable future. HMS Medway, one of the newest ships in the Royal Navy and the current Caribbean Guard Ship, will be paying a brief visit to the Territory over the coming days.
The Government of the Virgin Islands has signed a five year contract with Canadian Bank Note Company to monitor the Territory’s borders for the next five years and share real time information between agencies.
