Residents along the Ridge Road, Sabbath Hill to Diamond Estate including Upper McNamara, Harrigan Estate, Brewers Bay and Mount Healthy are notified that public water service will be temporarily interrupted today, Wednesday, August 25 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. to facilitate repair to leaks along the Ridge Road.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer has said the recommissioning of works for the East End Long Look Sewerage project will be undertaken in a three (3) phased approach.

As a result of the increased alert respective to the Coronavirus Disease COVID-19 Pandemic, the Water and Sewerage Department (WSD) is advising customers with inquires to avoid walk-ins and instead forward all queries to email wsd@gov.vg or telephone 468-5834/5901.

The Zion Hill reservoir is the latest and final reservoir restoration project to be constructed as the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities continue to improve the water distribution network in the Territory.

The public is notified that the portion of Paraquita Bay road on Tortola, in the vicinity of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) Marina, will be partially closed on Saturday, June 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the installation of water connections in the area.  Motorists are kindly asked to use alternate routes.

The Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities (MTWU) has received control of the Water Reservoirs at Carrot Bay from the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA). Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation Works and Utilities (MTWU), Mr. Ronald Smith-Berkeley signed on behalf of the ministry during a handover ceremony at the reservoir grounds in Carrot Bay on Tuesday, June 15.

Residents of Shepherd Hill are notified that the public water service will be temporarily interrupted from Tuesday, May 25 to Thursday, May 27 at 5:00 a.m. in order to facilitate repairs and maintenance to a damaged line.

Residents and businesses in the vicinity of Fat Hogs Bay, East End, Tortola, are notified that public water service will be temporarily interrupted on Friday, May 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
