1. Complete the Driver’s License Renewal Form
Download and fill out the Driver's License Renewal Form before your visit. This form requires personal details, current license information, and relevant identification numbers.
2. Gather required documents
Bring the following items to the DMV:
Your current or expired BVI driver’s license
Completed Renewal Form
Proof of immigration status (e.g., work permit)
Note: You must appear in person, as an eye examination is mandatory and cannot be completed by a proxy or you can provide eye exam results from a licenced Eye Doctor.
3. Visit the DMV
Attend the DMV during business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
At the DMV, you will:
Submit your documents
Undergo a free eye examination
Have your photograph taken
Pay the renewal fee

- You can renew your driver's license up to 60 days before its expiration.
