The public is notified that the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) staff will be travelling to Anegada on Wednesday April 17 to register youth and promote the upcoming, "Youth Enrichment Anegada Edition" events to be held from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28.
Persons seeking to have students placed in the Virgin Islands public school system are reminded that the registration process for the 2024-2025 academic school year began on January 2 and ends April 30.

On Friday, 8th March, the Grade 5 students of the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School had the unique opportunity to participate in a Special Sitting of the House of Assembly.
Interim Director of the Virgin Islands Public Service Learning Institute (VIPSLI), Dr. Connie E. George has completed the first phase of a regional and international study tour with the Civil Service College in the Cayman Islands.
During the visit from February 21 to 23, Dr. George. gained insight on how the Cayman Islands’ Civil Service College functions, including the systems and strategies used to maximise learning and development. She was given a tour of the college’s purpose-built facility, constructed to independently support and manage the continuous learning and development of public officers.
The Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) is hosting its 52nd Annual Inter-House Track and Field Championships on 7th and 8th March, 2024.
The event commenced today with a march past from the ESHS school grounds, along the Fishlock Road onto the Blackburne Highway and ended at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds with athletes and cheerleaders from four of the school’s houses, namely Lettsome, O’Neal, Flemming, and Carlisle.
