The public is advised that the BVI Post will be closed from Saturday, March 28 to Wednesday, April1. The purpose of the closure is to adhere to the mandatory curfew implemented by the Government of the Virgin Islands.

The public is notified that effective immediately, the BVI Post can no longer accept bottles or batteries in packages destined to the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Postmaster General Pascha Stoutt has said that the restoration of mailbox services throughout the Territory remains one of the top priorities of the BVI Post.

Post box holders and persons receiving mail at General Delivery are asked to collect registered mail at the General Post Office in Road Town.
Once a registered item is received, a notice is placed in the customer’s mail and a valid form of identification is needed as proof of ownership before the item is released.
Persons are asked to collect all registered items at the Road Town location as failure to do so will lead to the return of the registered items to the sender.

Deputy Postmaster General, Ms. Norea Baronville is again reminding all post box owners that mail can be collected at the General Post Office located in the Maduro Building in Road Town.
