The scope of work for the second phase of the National Sewerage Programme in East End/Long Look is expected to commence on Wednesday, February 25.
Government continues to move forward with the continuation of the National Sewerage Programme in that area and the scope of work is to take place from Fat Hog’s Bay in the vicinity of Five Girls store going east to the bridge at Long Swamp.
The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that Boo Bay Drive, Road Town from Josh Bakery to the Glancina George Building will be closed on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15 from 8:00 a.m. to vehicular traffic.
The Government of the Virgin Islands signed a contract earlier today for the rehabilitation of culverts and roads at Fortune Ghut Carrot Bay, as it continues to improve the Territory’s infrastructure.
The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that Parker Road, Road Town which runs between Josh Bakery and Little Denmark will be closed from Friday, February 6 from 8:00 a.m. to vehicular traffic.
The purpose of this road closure is to upgrade the drainage system, to relocate the utilities and to resurface the road in that area. Works are expected to last for a 27 day period.

The Public Works Department is informing the public that works will be carried out on Rouges Bay road on Saturday, January 31 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. to pave and rehabilitate the road.
The Public Works Department is informing the public that road and wall rehabilitative works will commence on Sugar Mill Road in Lower Estate on Monday, February 2 and are expected to be completed on Sunday, March 15. Works are scheduled from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that the Blackburn Highway from Parham Town to the Queen Elizabeth Bridge will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Thursday January 22 to Friday January 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of the closure is to pave and rehabilitate the road in that area.
Traffic will be redirected through the Parham Town road. Motorists are asked to exercise caution when traversing the area.
