Residents of the British Virgin Islands are advised that the online registration form for the AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine will be temporarily closed from this evening, February 17. This is to allow for the scheduling of appointments for those that fall into Phase One.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone stated that the Government of the Virgin Islands and residents have made many sacrifices in keeping the Territory safe as COVID-19 continues to affect countries around the world.
The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that Statutory Instrument No. 12 Imposition of a Curfew (No.3) Order, 2020 is now available on the Virgin Islands Official Gazette website at https://eservices.gov.vg/gazette/.

The British Virgin Islands marked another historic day as it received the first shipment of 8,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to combat effects of the COVID-19 virus.
The public is notified that as of January 28, at 5:00 a.m. until February 11, Imposition of Curfew (No.2) Order, 2021 takes effect between the hours of 2:01 a.m. to 4:59 a.m. daily.

Since the declaration of the COVID-19 virus as a Global Pandemic, with the unswerving support of Cabinet, the House of Assembly and the formation of the Health Emergency Operations Center, as Minister for Health and Social Development, with the support of dedicated professionals throughout the public service and the team at the BVI Health Services Authority, we have been managing the COVID-19 situation and response in this Territory.
